A few weeks ago we were lucky enough to cater for a very special 21st Birthday in Westleigh in the Norther Suburbs of Sydney just near Hornsby. This was a repeat client of ours which always makes us warm and fuzzy inside. Previously we have catered for the birthday girls mum's 50th birthday which was actually a surprise party (and she was so surprised!)
Paella is a great dish for a party as it is tasty and filling. It is also a relaxed catering style and ensures your guests have a good time. We catered for 100 people for this event who were all fed in under 12 minutes. Paella is great as it is quick to serve and easy to eat which meant that people were able to eat with a drink in their hand, as well as come up to the pan for 2nd's. As these clients selected one of our largest pans, we include bread and a mixed leaf salad to complement the paella. This is another good option to consider as it is easy to eat and makes paella a more complete meal for your guests.
It is perfect for a 21st Birthday party, engagement party or even for staff drinks. When accompanied with one of our grazing stations or tapas it is suitable for a longer event such as a wedding or afternoon drinks. Our tapas and grazing stations are a great addition to a paella party and allow people to have something to eat whilst the paella is cooking. It is not 100% necessary but does add a level of sophistication to the event.
