Just before Easter, 2019; Paella amor catered for a teacher’s welcome lunch at a local school in Five Dock. We had 70 hungry teachers to feed for both morning tea and lunch. To begin with we provided an awesome platters selection in the staff room for the teachers to graze on at morning tea. Cheese platters, dips platter, antipasto platter, pastries platter and fruit platters were all on the menu with the morning tea being loved by the staff.
Remember, Paella amor doesn’t just cook delicious paellas and tapas, we have access to a range of different food options from our sister catering company Boardwalk Catering.
Then of course we were onto the lunch meal. Paella.
Two types of paella were cooked with our mixed paella in a 90cm pan and 55cm of vegetarian paella to keep any dietary requirements happy. This was perfect for the teacher’s lunch and was loved by all the staff. Perfect food for a pupil free day and staff building.
Although there was minimal wind we still utilised our new wind guards to stop the light breeze being an issue. With the assistance of our waitstaff, who are included in our paellas we were able to easily feed 70 people in only 8 minutes. Having these staff included in our pans makes a huge difference when it comes to service. Our staff also assisted with clean up and ensuring that all our rubbish was removed from the venue post event.
This was the second job we have done at this school in Five Dock and by the sounds of it, we will be back next year with our lovely clients very happy with the food and service. We received this great feedback “Everybody loved the Paella, and the morning tea was fabulous.”
Remember if you have any staff drinks, team building or any event really that you would like catering for, think of Paella amor.
We would be more than happy to provide a quotation for any upcoming event or function.
